Saturday, September 8, marks the 19th annual festival celebrating the birthday of Queen Lili`uokalani. The Queen’s 180th birthday is September 2. Starting at 10 a.m., He Hali`a Aloha No Lili`uokalani offers a full day of children’s games and activities, crafts and demonstrations, live entertainment, tea ceremony, food trucks and more.

Lyman Museum presents, “Appreciating the Sakada Connection in Hawai‘i” on two occasions – Monday, August 27th from 7:00-8:30PM and Tuesday, August 28th from 3:00-4:30PM in Historic Downtown Hilo!
